Walmart Is Selling Glittery, Orange Syrup for Halloween

Whether you’re a parent of antsy Halloween-loving children or just someone looking for small ways to compensate for missing the usual costume party, the buildup to October 31st, 2020 will be all about finding little ways to get in the season’s spirit from the comfort of home.

If you’re looking for a fitting way to start your Halloween morning without giving into the temptation to just straight up eat candy for breakfast, perhaps you should consider this orange glittery syrup that in-house Walmart brand Great Value is selling.

Yup, that is, in fact, a very orange, very glittery bottle of syrup made with both “natural flavors” and “edible glitter”. What exactly those flavors are isn’t easy to discern from the packaging, but the visual element is what’s most important here. I mean, who cares what your pancakes taste like when they’re imbued with a shimmering orange hue?

It’s worth pointing out that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen syrup featuring edible glitter, but it very well may be the only edible glittery syrup specifically geared towards Halloween. That means it should pair perfectly with Walmart/Great Value’s existing line of fall baking stuff, which includes a pumpkin spice pancake mix.

The bottle of glittery goodness sells in 12-ounce bottles at Walmart, which should be more than enough syrup to last you through October, at which point you’ll probably be ready to switch back to regular syrup. Still, its $2.98 price tag is a small price to pay for the chance to make Halloween breakfast just a little bit more magical.
