This Oreo Peppermint Bark Is the Snack You Need This Holiday Season

There are a lot of Oreos out there, and a lot of ways to eat them. That’s especially true around the holidays, when all manner of gingerbread and peppermint-flavored Oreos start popping up on store shelves.

Well what if I told you that in addition to having peppermint bark flavored Oreos, you could also enjoy Oreo-flavored peppermint bark? You’d probably call me some kind of crazy dreamer, but it would appear that such a dream is, in fact, real.

According to Instagrammer @Markie_Devo, who’s lucky enough to get unreleased snacks for free from companies like Frankford Candy, the world will soon be blessed with not one but two distinct flavors of Oreo-branded bark.

First up is the cookies ‘n cream flavor, which seems like it presents Oreo’s signature combination of tastes in addition to a “dark chocolatey dipped bottom”. But the real star of the show for obvious reasons is the peppermint flavor, which basically starts with your traditionally delicious peppermint bark and then sprinkles in crushed up Oreos (plus that “chocolatey bottom”).

What’s even better about this Oreo bark is that it’s sold in very snackable 2.5-ounce individual packages. Given that most good peppermint bark recipes yield multiple pounds of the yuletide treat, this Frankford Candy offering seems like a solid alternative if you’ve got a craving for the stuff but don’t want to deal with a ton of tempting leftovers.

Based on the info that Frankford provided to Markie Devo, it looks like this beautiful bark will be available starting November 1st, which should give you plenty of time to get your fix before the new year. Or just hoard it all winter until we can go back outside again. Either way, you can’t go wrong.
