Summer Fig and Watermelon Salad with Feta
Balsamic glaze is a syrup of concentrated, cooked-down, sweetened balsamic vinegar; it adds a sweet and tangy element to this refreshing salad. Look for it near the vinegar.

Wow. What an interesting and tasty salad. I prepared as directed and it was received with rave reviews. I think the onion is a must. It adds a new level of flavor. I will lightly broil the figs next time for a little crispy change. Such a nice addition on a hot summer day. And figs come and go, so make it soon! Cooking light does it again. 5 stars!

This salad was quite easy to make and was yummy. I forgot the purple onion and I think that is why I could say it was refreshing. I don't have hate for the onion...I bet it would be just as delicious with the onion...just not refreshing...
