You know how as soon as you grow into a fully formed adult human, you realize that the best part of a delivery pizza is the part you've been foolishly tossing aside (for your parents to eventually graze on)? Well we decided to make up for lost years by making this cheesy stuffed crust ring, no pizza necessary. Of course, we all know the only thing better than a standard hand-tossed pizza crust is a stuffed crust. We flavored this cheesy ring of bready glory with a seasoning blend inspired by the masters—Domino's—and served it up with a delicious blend of the two most perfect crust dipping sauces: ranch and marinara. Warm from the oven, this cheesy appetizer perfect for a Super Bowl party, or any other game day gathering.

Instructions Checklist
  • Prepare the Cheese Bread: Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove dough from refrigerator; let stand at room temperature 20 minutes. Roll dough on a lightly floured surface into a 32- x 3-inch rectangle. Tear cheese sticks in half lengthwise. Place cheese pieces in a single layer lengthwise down center of dough rectangle, leaving 1 inch of dough along each side. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the Parmesan evenly on cheese pieces. Bring sides of dough up and over cheese. Using moistened fingers, pinch to seal seam and form a tube shape. Bring ends together to form a 12-inch ring, and pinch ends to seal tightly. Carefully place ring, seam side down, on a baking sheet sprinkled with cornmeal. Brush top of ring with 1 tablespoon of the oil. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, combine butter, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and remaining 3 tablespoons oil and 2 tablespoons Parmesan in a bowl. When bread is removed from oven, brush with butter mixture.

  • Prepare the Ranch Dipping Sauce: Stir together mayonnaise, buttermilk, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a serving bowl until smooth; swirl in marinara. Place cheese bread on a platter with bowl of dipping sauce in the middle. Dip away!!
