Made it for me and my kids. My son didn't go for it, but my almost 9-year-old daughter and I finished every bite! Looking forward to my next serving!
A wonderful recipe, very quick and easy. I took the advice of other reviews and decreased the oil and sugar. Served the shrimp on mixed greens. Will definitely make this again.
Excellent! Simple, fresh, quick and one for company. Only needed to use one mango and one Avocado as we used the "giant" ones grown here in Florida. We added a few lime slices as husband likes to squeeze lime on everything. Using frozen "salad" shrimp, thawed, made it quick
Perfect for a refreshing and light summer dinner with no cooking. Sliced red pepper would add color and complement the flavors. Serving on top of Arugula or other dark, soft lettuce, maybe spinach, would add color, too. Yum.
Refreshing and tasty. Took it to a pitch-in and was asked for the recipe. Made it again as a side and left out the shrimp and it was still delicious, Was asked for the recipe again. Will definately add to my favorites.
so easy to make and perfect for lunch. very filling. i made exactly as directed - I would use a bit less oil and sugar next time. but i'll certainly be making this again. YUM!
Nice recipe, although I'd rather remove oil and sugar and add fresh cucumber.
This is a perfect summer meal! I served it on a bed of arugula because that was what I had on hand. When I do it again I think I'll serve it on a bed of romaine.
Great summer salad. I used a little less oil, red onion (no green onions on hand) and grilled shrimp. I served it over greens with asparagus on the side. I would make it again. Delicious.
I tried the recipe last night without the oil and there was just too much avocado and sugar for me. Tried it again just now. Omitted the sugar and oil. Put in less avocado. Substituted yellow onions for green onions (ran out). Added pineapples and salt. Totally delicious!!
Very tasty but I thought it was oily - I thought the vegetable oil could easily be omitted without losing any flavor.
We made this dish in the summer at our lakehouse and snacked on it all week long! It has a great fresh flavor and was a hit with everyone. Forgot to add the vegetable oil but was still delicious!
