Hot Chicken-and-Waffle Sandwiches with Chive Cream

This recipe did not work. The oil, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder and sugar never came together. Despite constant whisking for 10 min plus, I ultimately wound up with a piece of candy which was the spices coming together, and unincorporated oil. This really was disappointing and not good.
I have to say I was a bit concerned by the amount of cayenne pepper this called for, but I followed the directions exactly and it was scrumptious! The chicken was not too hot at all! And the sour cream sauce is a must! It helps cut the heat just a bit. To make this super easy, we used Publix chicken tenders (really they're simply the best!) and frozen waffles. You've got to try this!
