Garlicky Green Beans with Pine Nuts
Go beyond basic green beans and add flavor with fresh garlic and toasted pine nuts. The recipe is simple but the flavor is not.

This was nice, but not outstanding.
I think you really need to toast the pine nut very well if you want a bit of a crunch, but other than that, very easy and quick and a winner.
So simple and SO good!!! I used 2lbs of french green beans and doubled everything else in the recipe except for the pine nuts. My boyfriend could not stop eating them!!!
My 11 year old ate these! The recipe has too much oil for our taste, so I will cut it down to 1 tbls next go-round. Delicious!!
Very yummy and easy!
Surpassed my expectations-- for once there were hardly any green beans left in the pan! I used green beans that we canned from the garden, just drained them and added them in after sauteing the nuts and garlic.
Made these for Thanksgiving (we didn't want a heavy casserole). WAY better than the usually standard green beans with almond slices. My aunt (who is usually the queen of the kitchen on Thanksgiving) asked for the recipe because she couldn't stop raving about it. Only change I made was using French green beans instead of regular,so I just barely boiled them for 3 minutes since they're so thin.
A delicious vegetable dish! I made a little over 2 pounds of green beans. I used the same amount of pine nuts as listed. I used 3 large garlic cloves and closely estimated the remaining ingredients.
