This was delicious, but runny. For some reason, my pudding didn’t set. I used unsweetened vanilla almond/coconut milk, so maybe that was the problem?
I used Trefoils, walnuts and butter as a crust. The cream cheese and Cool Whip as directed, 2 small boxes of choc. pudding w/4 C skim milk and sprinkled with crushed Trefoils, walnuts and crushed Thin Mints. It was a huge hit at our Brownie Christmas party. The tiny leader took 3 servings!!! Thanks for the recipe!
I made this for a college football tailgate and it was gone in a flash! Everyone loved it. How can you go wrong with those ingredients? I made it a little better for you, by using skim milk to make the pudding, light cool whip and reduced fat cream cheese :)
This dessert was so good! It was quick and easy, and my entire family loved it. It tasted even better the second day.
OMG!! This recipe ROCKS! It's easy and very tasty... but beware! It's highly addictive. :)
When I ran across this recipe I thought it sounded really good, so I served it as one of the desserts at our family Thanksgiving dinner. I used low fat/sugar free pudding, whip cream and light cream cheese, although I did add about 1/2 cup of Equal to the cream cheese. I guess any alternative sweetener would suffice, though. I used sugar free almond milk in place of regular milk. The cookies themselves were sweet enough to add that regular sugar taste. It was a hit with everyone, and I would say this one's a definite keeper for a rich dessert for any occasion.
would not make again with listed measurements. two (2) cups of milk to one (1) 5.9oz package of pudding produces an un-spreadable ball. i added additional milk according to pudding package and this resulted in a wonderful desert. total milk added was 8 cups. of course this makes more pudding than needed. with this modification i will make the desert again.
