Chicken and Sausage Stew
The cooked flour and oil mixture, known as roux, thickens this gumbo-inspired stew. Marinara sauce adds body, enriches the color and taste, and provides slightly tangy notes for a more rounded flavor.

This was awesome. I don't think my andouille sausage was chicken, and I used pasta sauce that I had on hand.I served over Brown rice. Yummy.
Filling and delicious. My store didn't have chicken andouille sausage, subbed with Johnsonville Chicken Sausage w/ Cheese & Chipotle Peppers (made for a good sub). Great for a cold evening.
This was excellent! I made it with chicken the first time then tried it with shrimp. Both came out delicious. Put the shrimp in and let sit for about 10 minutes or until shrimp was cooked.
This was super tasty. I used kielbasa instead of chicken sausage and followed the recipe exactly for everything else. I will make again.
It was easy to make and pretty tasty. I could not find low-sodium marinara, but regular suits me just fine.
Really yummy comfort food
Very good and easy. I used chicken fennel sausage leftover in the freezer. Robust flavor for a quick and easy meal. I would make this again.
I used smoked turkey sausage instead of Andouille, which was slightly lower calories and less spicy... I also used brown rice. My husband and I both loved it.
