Cherry-Peach Sangria
We recommend zesty Spanish albariño, but you can use any other refreshing white wine.

I do love this recipe, but I agree with the others that it only makes 4 glasses. It also doesn't say when to put in the peach. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put it in with the cherries, or just before serving.
We like to make this using Vinho Verde, a Portuguese wine made from not-yet-ripe grapes. It is very similar to Albarino, but more affordable. The bottle has a little fizz. When we take it to parties, it runs out very quickly. Everyone loves this Sangria.
Wonderfully refreshing! Marinated fruit is still good the next day but not any longer. As others implied, 8 servings is only reached by filling glasses with lots of fruit, not too much wine.
refreshing, well balanced and impossible to put down. we really like the way the fruit of the absorbed all of the wine and Brandy. My only complaint is the serving size is way too small, we only had four glasses from the batch!
We made this on July 4th and people were literally scooping fruit out of the empty punch bowl by the end of the day. The drink is really good and the cherries get really yummy from being infused with the wine/brandy. My one note-- there really does seem to be much more fruit than alcohol, but that didn't bother my guests one bit! It just morphed from a drink to a drunken fruit salad by the end of the day.
Just a tip... there is NO way this would serve 8 people. We made a triple batch and it only made 2 glass pitchers. It's truly worth the time and expense though.
Fantastic and very refreshing
