These Hot Cocoa K Cups Taste Just Like Your Favorite Candy
By this point in the year, there’s a good chance you’re pretty tired of the same old Keurig pods you’ve been cycling through at home. We’re also just about to enter the time of year where the weather cools to the point that drinking hot cocoa is socially acceptable— which also happens to coincide with prime candy season.
If you want to seize the season by effectively drinking hot cocoa that is also candy, then you’ll probably want to know about the “Best of the Best Hot Chocolate Pods” 40 pack of K Cups sold by Two Rivers Coffee on Amazon. Of the eight different flavors that make up this wide-ranging take on hot cocoa, three are explicitly named after a particular chocolatey candy, while at least one more is certainly inspired by one.
First up, there’s a Tootsie Roll-inspired hot cocoa flavor. You unfortunately can’t find out how many licks it takes to get to the center of it, but you can surely count the sips. For a hint of mint with your cup of liquid chocolate, the Junior Mint K Cup is probably your best bet, taking its cues from the classic movie theater snack. If you’re the kind of person that actually enjoys a Charleston Chew from time to time, your hot cocoa dreams are about to come true.

Probably the most appealing option in the pack (given that it’s based around a candy that normal people actually eat) would have to be the pack’s Peanut Butter Cup Hot Cocoa brewed up by Brooklyn Bean Hot Cocoa. While they probably can’t say that it’s Reese’s-flavored for trademark reasons, one look at the color scheme on these K Cups will leave little doubt as to what’s really going on. If you could care less about candy but enjoy a variety of hot cocoa flavors, Brooklyn Bean’s Mexican, Milk Chocolate, and Midnight options should do the trick.
At just under $20 for 40 K Cups of cocoa, this deal should cover all of your candy-flavored hot cocoa needs. Now if only they could find a way to get some caffeine in there, then we’d really be talking.
