  • Bring large pot of water to a boil over high; add macaroni and 4 1/2 teaspoons of the salt. Cook pasta until al dente, about 7 minutes. Drain and rinse.

  • Add pasta to a 5-quart slow cooker. Stir in milk, evaporated milk, butter, cream cheese, pepper, 4 cups of the Cheddar, eggs, and remaining salt until well combined. 

  • Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring half-way through. Add remaining cheese, and cook 15 more minutes or until set and cheese is melted and gooey.

Tips

Be sure not to overcook, or the pasta will burn on the bottom.
